Off to the Pumpkin Patch!
All of my friends love to take their kids to Eckert's Family Farm for berry picking, peach picking, and apple picking. All of that sounds like a major production to me with a toddler in tow, so we've never gotten into it. However, a pumpkin seemed manageable, so we decided to go for it. The pumpkins were pretty picked over, but we found one, and we did pop over to the apple orchard to grab a few of those as well. At Eckert's the farm-goers are allowed to eat as many items on the spot that they would like, so we let Callum have a big ol' apple. We figured he'd gnaw on it a tiny bit and then get bored, but he loved it. He ate the whole thing, while we weren't watching, core and all!
